However, our marriages are more often marred by indifference & Loneliness, boredom & stress, disconnection & Isolation. We cannot live like this for long. inevitably, we find ways to adapt and our marriage becomes something other than what it was meant to become.
This retreat will assess the current strengths and weaknesses of your marriage and provide a wealth of resources for restoring the glory of marriage: Connection, Intimacy, Delight. In a calm and peaceful retreat setting at The saint thomas moore house of prayer, we will engage the unspoken stories of harm from childhood that have deeply influenced your relationship. We embrace the strong conviction that the route of healing in marriage follows the path of our harm.

The Safe & Sound Protocol
SSP is a non-invasive listening therapy that stimulates the vagus nerve by activating the middle ear muscles through cues of safety in mid-range frequency music. Experiencing the SSP protocol will increase your capacity to self-regulate when emotionally flooded and attune to your partners voice when communicating. This is only available through a certified provider.

Restoring Marriage through Story Engagement
Marriage brings together a man and woman who are each created in the image of God and called to become more like Him, yet both are sinners with a past. Each individual will bring a childhood story of heartache that will be engaged in a small group context to renew connection, grow intimacy, and ignite delight.
